This PRIVACY POLICY explains how Prominence Pilates Studios processes personal data that we collect when you visit the studio in person, register on our website or use our digital products.

Any data we collect is done with your permission and is used only by us for essential communication about class bookings, the purchase of products and services, and relevant and appropriate direct marketing designed to enhance your experience and the services we offer. HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA

 

Prominence Pilates Studios collects your name, email address and other relevant personal data such as phone number, postal address, emergency contact, date of birth and gender (where appropriate) when you register through our booking system TEAMUP. This is necessary in order to carry out basic communication, fulfil bookings, and give you the best service.

 

When you book and pay for a class or class pack your payment is handled by the secure on line banking system STRIPE. All payment data processed is encrypted. Prominence Pilates Studios does not store payment information digitally or in paper form.

 

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

 

Prominence Pilates Studios personnel use your data only for essential communication about your bookings, purchases, reminders and class changes and in the case of class cancellations and emergencies.

 

We retain a record of your studio visits and activities as well as relevant health and fitness information relating to the services we provide. This data is collected to give you the best service possible and in order to tailor our products to customer needs more accurately in the future.

 

We use email and SMS (text) as the primary form of communication with you via TEAMUP’s auto-email system. We also periodically send general email newsletters using MAILCHIMP about products and services we offer to both existing and previous customers, or those who have directly enquired about our services or visited for taster or other studio events. You have the right to opt out of these at any time.

 

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

 

Our staff are trained to protect your digital and paper data using our secure systems (TEAMUP, STRIPE and Mailchimp) and through due diligence with paper filing systems held under lock and key.

We do not share your information with any third party.

 

YOUR RIGHT TO OPT-OUT OF DIRECT MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS

 

We provide an opt-out for marketing emails in every communication sent. We invite prospective customers to opt-in for our newsletters and promotions in a secure form on our website and during the registration process. There are opportunities to opt out of these at any time if you so wish.

 

 

GENERAL DATA WE MONITOR

 

We collect information about our customers using TEAMUP analytics and GOOGLE ANALYTICS. This information includes class purchase history and attendance (TEAMUP), the amount of time spent on our website, the number of pages accessed and the popularity of each page (GOOGLE ANALYTICS). This information is used only by Prominence Pilates Studios to improve its products and services. GOOGLE ANALYTICS does not identify the individual. We do not pass on or sell this information to any third parties.

 

COOKIES

Cookies are small files which many web sites transfer to your hard disk. They can inform the web site what pages you visit, and your preferences, which enable web sites to provide you with a more personalised service.
